Szarvas Arboretum and Mini Hungary

The Szarvas Arboretum has an area of 82 hectares and 5 collections with around 1600 species of trees and shrubs. The oldest collection is the world-famous "Pepi Garden", founded by Count Pál Bolza, which is more than 100 years old. This enchanting "landscape" park is visited by more than 80,000 people every year. In addition to the woody plants, the whole fauna of the area is growing and becoming more and more close to nature. Nearly a hundred buildings and models of railways and ships, each one a detailed replica, can be found in the Mini Hungary model park. The miniature sailing boats and steamships on Lake Balaton and the Danube, as well as the buildings that can be heard at the push of a button, are a special experience for everyone.
